Organization

MVI AudioVisual, located in Zwolle, is an internationally operating software development company. We primarily focus on developing, supporting, and selling our own software solutions in the market for conference microphone systems. We are active in the world of parliaments, provinces, cantons, and municipal councils and are a global market leader in software for conference systems. Successes include the Nuclear Security Summit in The Hague, the Municipality of Rotterdam, the Municipality of Amsterdam, and various parliaments around the world.

Additionally, we develop our own Audio Visual software aimed at controlling and ‘low-latency’ display of camera images, HDMI video, live H264/HEVC video streams, and generated content such as voting results, speaking times, and HD ‘character generation’. With our software, we replace a large part of the hardware that would normally fill a 19″ rack.

To continue growing our solutions within our product and solution offerings in the world of conference systems and AV software, we are looking for new colleagues to help us.

Role ‘Support Engineer’

In the role of ‘Support Engineer’, your activities will initially focus on acquiring technical knowledge and understanding the use of our solutions. You will share this knowledge of our products with colleagues, interested customers, and existing customers. You will grow into the role of a ‘Product Specialist’: an owner of knowledge and know-how about the use and applicability of our solutions. This also includes maintaining (training) documentation and ‘application notes’ for (online) access by customers, primarily in Dutch and English.

As a development company, we are continuously evolving our software solutions, regularly adapting the software to new market demands or specific customer wishes. Within this role, it will be a responsibility to test these new software versions and collaborate with the development team to deliver better product solutions. For this, you will occasionally work on projects according to customer wishes, and travel within the Netherlands, but also in Europe and/or the rest of the world, may be necessary. We will also need to cover each other’s work when necessary. We can discuss your possibilities in this during your application.

Requirements

  • Een afgeronde MBO opleiding software/ ICT / techniek of gelijkwaardig.
  • A completed MBO degree in software/ICT/technology or equivalent. Computer experts who understand how PCs and networks are structured can also apply for this position.
  • Experience with software and operating systems such as Windows, Apple (iOS/MacOS), and Android.
  • Interest in AV, computers, and continuously helping to improve your knowledge and skills in the field MVI AudioVisual operates in.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Dutch.
  • Lives in the vicinity of/has ties to the city of Zwolle

We are (still) a small company with opportunities for growth. We look at your wishes and (career) possibilities on an individual basis. We would be delighted to welcome you to our team!

If interested, please send your application to support@mvi-audiovisual.com so we can hopefully get to know you soon!

Note: We do not wish to be contacted by recruiters or headhunters for the fulfillment of this vacancy. Only direct applications will be considered. ‘Candidates’ sent to us by email for this position will be considered directly approachable.
