Solution with Audio-Technica
From AV magazine
Audio-Technica’s ATUC-50 Digital Discussion System has been integrated into MVI Audiovisual’s EasyConf software ecosystem.
The Dutch-based developer’s software suite includes EasyConf, EasyCam and EasyConf Connect, which provide a comprehensive solution for preparing, managing, streaming and recording meetings with in-person and remote attendees.
Customisable control interface
The EasyConf software offers a customisable control interface for the ATUC-50, offering a range of features for agenda, speech time, voting control and participant identification.
The integration with the system hardware allows EasyConf knowledge of delegate seating position, vote casting and microphone operation. All conference system features can be controlled from the same customisable interface.
EasyCam was designed for efficient, flexible livestreaming and meeting recording, with fully automated camera control system to automatically show all active speakers.
All information from the conference system – including voting results, attendance and the current agenda item – can be used to design custom overlays for displays in the meeting room or for a livestream audience.
EasyConf Connect uniquely extends the possibilities of the ATUC-50 by allowing delegates to join a meeting with their own iPad or laptop.
Plug-and-play functionality
Audio-Technica’s ATUC-50 is designed for straightforward plug-and-play functionality, offering the choice of wired or infrared wireless systems (or combination of the two).
It provides 24-bit/48kHz uncompressed digital audio for natural-sounding voice reproduction, while wired and wireless microphone discussion units can be combined to provide for a maximum of 500 participants.
MVI Audiovisual sales director Alain Poort said: “It’s a collaboration that brings best-in-class hardware and software together, giving customers a seamless, flexible conferencing experience, whether they’re in the room or joining remotely, adding voting and speech times to formal meetings.
“A very nice addition is that MVI brings a fully automated camera registration system that allows for up to 40 cameras to be controlled within our platform, complete with lower-third graphics to enrich the visual experience for both in-room and livestream audiences.”
